At Philip’s Academy Charter School, our free before-care and aftercare programs support busy families while giving students a welcoming place to begin and end their school day. Staffed by our teaching and support staff, before care opens daily at 7:15 a.m., providing supervised care before school begins. Free breakfast is available to all students, helping them start the day ready to learn.
Our full aftercare program runs from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m., offering a mix of enrichment, arts, recreation, and homework help. Tutoring from qualified, credentialed teachers provides additional support for student learning. Students in the full program are expected to stay until at least 5:00 p.m. so they can participate fully in planned activities. This commitment also helps preserve limited spaces for families who need care through 5:30 p.m.
For families who need a shorter period of care after regular dismissal, our late pickup program provides appropriate supervision until 4:30 p.m. daily. This option is designed for students who need to stay beyond dismissal but do not require the full aftercare experience. Demand is high and capacity is limited, so we encourage families to plan ahead and choose the option that best meets their pickup needs.
Whether your family needs an early start, a little extra time after dismissal, or a full afternoon of engaging activities, Philip’s Academy is here to support you. Our programs extend the care, connection, and learning students experience throughout the school day.
